Advent at our house

The countdown to Christmas is on... and given that Santa isn't hurting for publicity, we're trying our best to balance his impending arrival with the impending arrival of a baby in a manger.

We've been counting down the days on our calendar.

We've been lighting our wreath and saying our Advent blessing almost every night (Will reminds us if we forget).

And Will has set up the kids' nativity set, although Ellie is just as good at taking it down. In this scene, Will tells me it's raining, so the holy family and the sheep are in the stable.
