Happy 2008!

2007 is, like, so last year (sorry, couldn't resist)... not to dismiss it without gratitude due. It was a year chock full of milestones: Ellie learned to walk, turned 1, cut five teeth, figured out how to open doors; Will learned his letters, turned 4, *almost* knocked out his front teeth, began singing "Hail to the Victors,"; we celebrated our 10th anniversary, and we all moved into our new home. And that's not counting daily victories. ;)

We rang in the new year, full of promise and possibilities, early with two neighborhood families. The grown-ups enjoyed food, drink and each other's company, while the kids didn't disappoint in the entertainment department.

Will appears to be something of a pied piper.

Here's the whole under-5 crew, making an appropriate ruckus. That's Leah, Nate, Steven, Savannah, Elle and Will.

Ellie got a taste of the good stuff.

After the little ones were snug as bugs, Andy and I managed to watch a movie (The Departed) and toast the new year (cringing at a couple minutes of horrible local news coverage of New Year's Eve). We're ready for the year ahead. For now. Check back tomorrow, when Andy's back at work and we're back to reality. ;)
