Rite of passage?

Last night, we officially entered a realm of parenting we'd been lucky enough to avoid. I don't know how to say it in polite company, so I'm just going to say it: Ellie puked in the car. Into her coat, all over her dress and down her car seat straps. It was fabulous.

We can joke about it because she apparently wasn't sick; she just had trouble digesting entire sections of a clementine without chewing them. How do we know she didn't chew them? It was all too obvious. And it wasn't even the first time she'd eaten a clementine!

Craziest part of it all? Can you imagine the first thing she wanted to eat this morning? Yeah. But I cut each section into pieces first. As you can see, she suffered no ill effects. ;)

Ellie you sure love your fruit! Poor peanut. If it makes you feel any better we had a "first" this week too - bloody injury to Liv's gums. But she's all better now, as I see you are too!
