A merman with a twinkle

If only you listened to Will's favorite song on Laura Veirs' latest CD, you'd recognize the title of this post. If, instead, you don't get it, all you really need to know is: Will is learning to swim! Will had his first lesson yesterday -- and his second lesson today! -- and he's taken to the water like he never left Florida. As I tucked him in tonight, he told me the best part of his busy day was his swimming lesson. He's already a big fan of the diving boards. How much do you love the goggles and water wings? His teacher, Shannon, says he's fearless. Our Will? Maybe because Grandpa is watching. :) He couldn't be more excited, and we couldn't be more proud. And the fact that he'll be safer next time we visit Grandma and Grandpa in Florida is a big plus!

Wasn't it Will's Grandpa that taught me to swim by tossing me uncerimoniously into the deep end?

My how times have changed, LOL!
