Hold your ears! DG's Fourth of July parade pulled out all the stops. Okay, maybe not *all*, but fire trucks (especially the cool Clarendon Hills engine that drives sideways), high school bands (including our alma mater), bagpipes (and drums) and candy (much better than our congresswoman's sponges -- what's up with that?) are all we need to go home happy.
