Wait an apple pickin' minute...
Is it June or September? We joined the DiCosolas for a jaunt over the Wisconsin border this weekend to pick apples. Who'd have thought we should have packed the shorts and sunscreen? Okay, well the DiCosolas did. But the Knudsens were unprepared, expecting autumn for some crazy reason. Go figure!
You need a wagon fit for off roading in the orchard. Luca showed Ellie some love. (Um, Will needs to work on his chaperoning skills.)
Check out Will in action! I'll admit he was bummed there were no ladders available, not that he needed one.
Even Ellie helped strip the lowest branches.
The spoils! Give or take 20 pounds.
And the first bite...
The toughest critics approve. (Phew.) Who needs cookies?
We weren't brave enough to weather the harsh September sun (ha) on a tractor ride, but Will did get a chance to greet a John Deere.
What girl doesn't love a scale that lies? Not to sound rude, but she weighs twice those 14 pounds!
