Learning the hard way

Ellie, independent woman she is, decided to ignore our warnings and touched one of our under cabinet halogen lights. She burned her wee finger, resulting in a blister and lots of tears.
After cold water became tiresome, we switched to a bag of frozen veggies to ease the pain. She fell asleep for a while, clutching the bag.
Poor baby. She won't do that again.
