Christmas Eve
I'm still catching my breath from holiday craziness. But doesn't it look like peaceful craziness?
Our children always get along this well. I think they were still under the watchful eye of Santa, heh heh.
We began Christmas Eve with Omi, Opa and Uncle Dave, attended Family Mass at Old St. Pat's (we were early, I might add...) mid-afternoon, then returned to Knudsens' to continue the celebration. I like to think we do a decent job keeping "the reason for the season" at the forefront. But that doesn't mean our kids attack their presents with less ferocity.
Dinos for Will (he's been very kind, sharing with his little sis),
...a high chair for Ellie's babies (it makes more sense when you see it assembled),
...and, of course, Star Wars LEGOs.
Elle, like the mama bird she is, fed her baby Katia cracker crumbs.
Later, a less-gentle approach to feeding. ;)
Will spent 90 percent of Christmas assembling new LEGO creations. Seriously, he could put Santa's elves to shame! Here, his Clone Wars spider droid (right) meets a couple of antiquated-looking vehicles built with Dad and Uncle Dave's "classic" bricks.
