Snow day

We face snow happily at this point in winter (ask us again in six weeks, and we may feel differently). Especially on a Saturday morning, when we're snug as bugs at home. We even had some fun clearing our way through the eight (or so) fresh inches -- our most significant accumulation of the season, to date.
Will had the magic touch, convincing his sister to join us with her coat and snow pants and boots. No easy feat! She was wooed by the idea of snow angels. Ellie loves her angels.
She was, however, a little unclear on the concept. Here she is, showing me her "snow angel."
Speaking of angels...
We're blessed to have two!
Ellie's actual snow angel attempt. ;)
Andy, hard at work, loving our snow thrower as it cuts through fresh powder like butter.
Ellie trying her best to help.
King of the hill! A.k.a., king of giving his mother a heart attack (don't fall on your head!).
Ellie, as ever-welcoming host. She was offering me ice cream. I suggested hot chocolate, but who am I kidding. Like I'd turn down ice cream!
