Bring Your Kids to Work Day
Thursday was the long-awaited Bring Your Kids to Work Day. Will said it's his favorite day of the year... unless you ask him right before Easter, his birthday, Halloween or Christmas. ;)
We took the train downtown, just like Daddy, which was a big hit in itself.
The kids had fun with Andy's colleagues' kids. Especially the Kuhns. Alyssa is just a few months younger than Elle, and Spencer and Nolan are 1-year-old ridiculously-adorable identical twins. The Olympic medal Will is sporting was earned in an Olympic training class earlier in the morning.
In between classes (Ellie met Miss Lori from PBS Kids, Will played Nintendo) and Happy Meals for lunch, a bunch of the kids in Andy's department congregated in the Energy Room. That's Katie holding Spencer, Jessica holding Nolan, Ellie, Will, Alyssa and Max. Hopefully Evelyn will join us next year, too.
Speaking of energy, the kids took full advantage of the room bearing its name. Especially the rolling stools. We were all out of energy by the time we headed home!
