Halloween, Butterfield-style

We had quite an evening Thursday, celebrating Halloween at BCC. The kids were really into the festivities... but still a little bit guarded.
While we were there for dinner—and had our fill—who can argue that dessert is the most important course?
Certainly not Will, who was not just following orders, despite appearances to the contrary.
EEK! A gypsy-clone trooper!
Oh, phew, it's just E.E.K. Ha!
What a brave big brother, protecting his sis from the walking dead.
One of the best parts of the evening was dancing in the pub. We'd never participated before, because Will isn't a big dancer. He was all business, anyway.
But Elle cut a rug! Apparently our children are the only ones who are exposed to rock concerts more than the Cha Cha Slide. Not that it stopped Ellie from trying.

Dancing lessons, stat (I can't wait!)!

I love how Ellie grabs Will's hand. Precious!
