It's not over 'til it's over

We had one more party for Ellie, celebrating her third birthday with our friends in the neighborhood. Elle wasn't the only one having fun; Will and his buddies spent the evening playing with LEGOs and eating pizza.
That's Steven, Will, Jack, Clayton and Harris hanging out upstairs before heading to the kitchen to eat. We had a big kid table, two little kid tables, and an island of (albeit limited) respite for the grown-ups.
Ellie's buddies provided plenty of help blowing out the candles. She called for multiple relights. ;)
Have we ever introduced our pet sheep, John? He's quiet, doesn't eat much, only sheds a little, and entertains the kids. Princesses Ellie and Katherine took a ride during their after-dinner tea.
The DiCosolas joined us, even though they've been temporarily displaced from the neighborhood. Their new home is technically further away, but they're grandfathered. Nico had his eyes on Ellie, and even showered her with a few sweet smiles.
And Ellie appreciated Luca's help opening her gifts. It's been a painful separation for the two of them (I daresay their moms, too), but they'll be back together soon!
Happy birthday, Cinderellie. ;) And yes, since you asked every morning for a week after your birthday, you're *still* 3!
