For Jacob

Our 5-year-old friend Jacob is recovering from a bone marrow transplant, and spent this Christmas at Children's Memorial. To help spread some Christmas cheer, Will and Ellie—and lots of Jacob's friends—made cards just for him. Will created Rudolph In the Snow. I forget who is frolicking on the horizon, but it's probably a Clone Trooper.
Ellie loves the Nativity year-round, so it wasn't a surprise that she drew Baby Jesus, Mother Mary and crew. I labeled everyone (per her instructions), just in case it's not immediately clear who's who.
Jacob has been in the hospital for 74 days, and after struggling with Graft v. Host Disease, he's finally making great progress. We hope he's healthy and home-free soon!
