Christmas Day at Grandma and Grandpa's

After spending the morning at home, basking in the bounty under the tree, we spent Christmas Day with the Demmerts. With Grandma and Grandpa coming from large and larger families, opening presents is traditionally a bit of a frenzy. Lucky for Aunt Lizzy. ;)
Elle helped Grandpa open gifts in front of the fire.
And Grandma had the pleasure of watching the grandbabies open their gifts.
Busia and Aunt Valerie joined us moments later. We enjoyed everyone's company and were blessed to spend Christmas surrounded by family. (I even think I managed to provide a vegetarian dish that didn't elicit the usual shame from cooks in the family!)
