First word

Ever tried editing with the help of a 3-year-old? Mine is very helpful. She likes to sit in my lap—between me and the computer screen—and steal my red pen. It's most productive. A couple of days ago, she decided she was going to write Aunt Val's name... and proceeded to write a V. I told her A was next, then helped her remember what an L looks like.
Voila! Ellie wrote her first word ever. All over my notes. ;) Below it, she drew a picture of one of the blankies Val knit for her. So sweet.
