Ellie warmed up, and the girls had fun, as did their moms and grandmas. And dolls, too, I'm sure. ;)

Omi and Me Tea
Ellie and I joined Omi for a Dolly and Me Tea at Omi and Opa's church on Saturday. Lots of lovely young ladies attended with their dollies in tow, and a fair number of grandmas brought their dollies, too!
We learned about tea—white tea provides the most health benefits, and has very low caffeine—and about some of the dolls in attendance. A few of the girls introduced their dolls, including Ellie, who surprised us as she took the mike and said, "Hi, my name is Ellie and this is my American Girl Felicity." She began the event super shy, even as she met her new friend Elise, granddaughter of Omi's friend Leslie Erhart.
Ellie warmed up, and the girls had fun, as did their moms and grandmas. And dolls, too, I'm sure. ;)
