Remember how I said "no zoom"? This is how close we were to the action as a neighboring boat said hello to a local resident (see the splashing?). And that's before the gator came to pay our boat a visit!

p.s. Because we love us some manatees, know that the fans that made these babies "go" were above the water. The bottoms of the boats were very shallow, and need no more than wet leaves to run on. So manatees are safe from blades, at least.
