Defense!

You can't win a ballgame on hits alone, which is why the DGYB league provides kids the opportunity to play all positions. Saturday, Will fielded balls in the outfield (he's paying a lot more attention this year... not that you can tell here).
He suited up as catcher. And while he didn't actually catch a ball, he was ready!
And he kept his foot on the bag in case he needed to complete a play (it never came to that).
The teams don't keep score, but they were pretty evenly-matched. I suspect the Owlz may have won by a beak.
