An afternoon in Bluffs

The weekend of August 14 we made a quick trip to Bluffs to visit the Kilvers. As always, the kids had a blast, taking advantage of Don and Carolyn's provisions for grandkids' visits.
As much as we love living close to the city, you can't help but enjoy the peace and quiet of the country's rolling hills and fields of corn.
We were wined and dined by way of homemade ice cream (have mercy!), and had a lovely visit. As an added bonus, Will finally saw one of the froggies that make a racket in the dark. He was on the other side of the window (upper-right pane), but it was a sight to see nonetheless!
I'm sure it won't be too long before we're on the road again!
