One boy's loss...

...is a certain fairy's gain! Will lost his third tooth in the middle of dinner last night, and it was a biggie: one of his top central incisors. I can already tell you I'm a sucker for that holey grin!
It had been loose for months—our hygienist even predicted it might come out before Christmas, but no luck. I suppose he had his sights set on more than his two front teeth, anyway. The craziest part was watching his teeth shift significantly to allow room for the impending arrival of his adult tooth. The space created made it appear a tooth was already missing.

We had a bit of a reprise of his fear of blood, and Will had to sit on the floor for a while after seeing the bloody gap. He knew what to do, though, which saved us another visit to the ER.

The other central incisor is loose, but has more than a few wiggles to go. My baby boy... he's growing so fast!
