A preschool Christmas

The preschool classes at the DG Park District always put on a holiday show to the delight (or amusement, at least) of parents and grandparents. Ellie's whopping class of six performed along with another class, and Daddy, Grandpa, Omi and I giggled throughout. That's Sufiya, Hunter, River and Ellie in the front, Luke and Kyle in the back.
Kyle is one of Ellie's best buddies, posing with Ellie and their teachers Mrs. Benjamin and Mrs. Owens. I appreciated his participation, along with Sufi's, since Kyle is Jewish and Sufi is Muslim. That's a lot of diversity for DG!
A sweet Christmas wish from a bunch of 3- and 4-year-olds:
Ellie wasn't convinced by the young, skinny Santa, who visited after the performance, asking if he was one of Santa's helpers.
Merry Christmas! See you Jan. 4, when a new student will bring Ellie's class to seven (five boys and two girls)!
