What better way to end the year?

Will had been carefully plotting and planning a Nerf war for months, and it finally came to fruition with our Family Fest New Year's Eve. Some of his best friends and their sibs. Versus. The dads.
Our basement was the battlefield. While the dads were armed and had a table to shield them, the kids had numbers. And John, the sheep, as a mascot.
Heath faces off with Will.

This photojournalist wasn't brave enough to stick around (and the lure of food, beverage and other moms upstairs was too great). But I'm told the dads never recovered, and succumbed to their offspring. I'm quite certain it lived up to Will's expectations. ;)
