My apologies for the lack of posts in recent history. As with our last hiatus, it's due to illness. Will got sick the week we left for Florida. Ellie got sick the day we arrived. I got sick a day or two later. My mom followed. Andy and my dad are fighting the good fight but barely hanging in there. It's likely influenza, although you can't be sure without a test. For certain, it's a wicked virus that has us sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffyhead(ing) and fever(ing?). The kids are finally on the mend. I'm lucky enough to have graduated to a sinus infection (I'm really luck enough to have an ENT for a cousin!). I'm *so* talented in that regard.
Ah, but you didn't come here to listen to my excuses, excuses, excuses. I've got me some antibiotics, so it's back to the blog! I'll do my best to capture a few of our favorite Florida moments to date, beginning with Will's photo of our plane just after it arrived at our gate at Midway.
And here's sweet Elle mid-flight, busily coloring -- one of her newfound favorite pasttimes. And no, she was *not* this good the whole flight. In her defense, she was getting sick. :(
