Can you dig it?
We beat an early afternoon thunderstorm, spending the late morning hours at one of our favorite neighborhood parks. It is lovely, isn't it? And you can't beat the shade once summer (finally) arrives.
Will had been pleading to visit Randall Park (despite the fact he was last there four days ago), so while Daddy and Grandpa took advantage of a beautiful day on the golf course, Mommy, Will and Ellie hit the sandpile.
Will planned to dig a hole...
...a deep hole. Last I heard, it was intended to be a tunnel to our house. ;)
During his excavation, he -- and his apprentice -- at one point found dinosaur bones, at another found a pirate's chest.
This is Will's "digger look." If he digs any deeper, I think the park district is either going to fine him or hire him!
