Pesto, anyone?

Will loves him some pesto. So when we spied Italian basil at a local nursery, we couldn't resist. While I was busy planting our window boxes (!) last Friday, Will exercised his green thumb. Can you tell it was a chilly day?
First, Will dug in to the bag of soil. Digging is his specialty, if you hadn't heard.
Next, he made room for his little plant.
In it goes!
Will worked on loosening the soil from the pot. He still hasn't gotten the hang of flipping it upside down and out. Unless you want your plant on the ground!
A second plant, so the first won't be lonely.
A little extra soil, and...
Voila! We'll be cookin' in no time.
