Our bonus day

In events suspiciously similar to Grandma's NYC trip earlier this summer, our Thursday morning flight home was canceled due, questionably, to weather. So we headed back to our hotel and had a bonus afternoon in the city.
We took a lovely stroll -- this time in less heat and humidity! -- through Central Park. Will, Ellie and I rode the carousel which, I might add, really cruises at top speed!
We paid homage at Lennon's Dakota and Imagine monument.
And we said "happy trails" to our favorite park.

It's funny: avoiding Midtown and especially Times Square, we found we very much enjoyed NYC. Hunormous thanks to Omi and Opa for making the trip possible for us!
