Halloween preview

I hope this isn't the equivalent of unwrapping gifts before Christmas... the kids donned their costumes for a pumpkin patch party at Butterfield tonight. (Granted, this is the third consecutive year Will has been a fire fighter.) Grandma and Grandpa extended the invitation, despite whiling away the first chills of fall in Florida.
You would think we were sitting next to a three-ring circus. Why must our children look at everything *but* the camera?
My Aunt Valerie -- our personal breast cancer survivor -- joined us for festivities. It was impressive how she managed to keep up with us, just a few weeks post-op!
As a fun and convenient parting gift, the kids each chose a pumpkin to, you know, take home and (watch Mom and Dad) carve.
