Third try is a charm

If you're looking for a racket, I suggest kids' haircuts. We tried Snippets in Lombard and Cookie Cutters in Glen Ellyn before scoring an appointment at Kid Snips in Oak Brook. And we still had to wait an hour! I personally think some type of award is in order for hanging out at the mall for an hour and not spending more than wishing pennies.

We then hunted for impatient seed pods, a favorite pastime of my childhood. Exploding seed pods are cool.
Ellie was a hoot, trying to mimic her brother, who hid behind inanimate objects. While Will disappeared, Ellie stood in front of posts, yelling, "Where's Ellie?" When I parroted her question, she'd respond, "There she is!"
