It takes a village

How in the world you can parent without the support of friends is beyond me. I couldn't be in two places at the same time without my friend Amy's help. This week I had a chance to help her out and watch two of her cuties for a couple of hours.
I can't get over how much Shawn has grown. Still, he made Ellie look beyond her years. Where did my baby go?
With big sister Savannah standing (sitting?) by, Ellie attempts to share with Shawn. Which is a big deal for our resident hoarder. Granted, she's suggesting he eat a wooden fish. But we'll take what we can get! As for Shawn, I think he passed up the fish for a goose finger puppet. To each his own.
