Sense-ational!

Last week the Whittier PTA hosted a Math and Science Night all about our senses. We had a blast, learning through hands-on stations around the school.

Trying to complete a puzzle by feeling the pieces—no peeking!
Building a diagram of the eye, from pupil to brain (complete with a laser to test it!). We were this close to success. I should mention that Mr. Saba had "Blinded Me With Science" playing in the room, which made the activity even better!
Learning about sound, feeling the vibrations from a jumbo tuning fork. Kudos to the Math and Science Committee for an A+ evening!
