Will, Elle and I checked it out after school today. As we entered the exhibit, Elle looked up and slowly said, "Oh. My. Goooodness." Apparently she was impressed; so much so, my back is still sore from carrying her intimidated little self. Even Will held my hand tighter than usual.

Cinco de my-oh-my
We, in the Knudsen household, have become honorary paleontologists. Under Will's expert tutelage, of course. So news of Brookfield Zoo's new Dinosaurs Alive! exhibit was very well received.

The kids did manage to pose in front of a few favorites. Note they're all vegetarians. No snacking on Will or Ellie!
But Will did pretend to feed this guy. Ask him which one it is (I forget).
I think I've been spoiled by Walking with Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Park, where the dinosaurs are darn-near real. But the size of these guys didn't disappoint. Any more realistic, and I would've had trouble convincing Will and Ellie to get this close!
