The birthday begins

Will tried to be so patient—"tried" being the operative word— waiting for his birthday. He's now well-aware of the passage of time, which made the anticipation of today more intense and exciting for all of us. But the wait is over...
Will is 6!
Even Ellie got into the celebration, although it's going to be a long road to September (when it's her turn).
Will opened all of his gifts from the fam first-thing, including an analog Bionicle watch to help him learn to tell time this summer.
Will also received a LEGO magazine subscription. He had to make do with a couple of samples, but we think he'll like it.
After presents, Will requested blueberry pancakes, and Dad delivered. Delish!
