Safety first

We'd been "negligent" long enough... We finally bit the bullet and bought Ellie a helmet for her trike. Not that she's particularly likely to do a header; we're more interested in starting the habit while she's all young and impressionable. And a pink princess helmet will do the trick nicely!
This past Sunday, we cruised around the block: Will on his new scooter, Ellie practicing her steering skills, and Andy and I with beverages to keep us hydrated (ahem).
I hope the sidewalk speed limit isn't radar enforced!
