Tricks and treats

The pre-party Halloween parade is a Whittier tradition... best observed outside. In pleasant weather. Instead, the soggy lot of us stuffed into the Jaguar Jungle to watch the action. Shawny, Elle, Steven and Finn didn't seem to mind.
Principal Ms. Welch led the festivities with the p.m. kindergarteners in tow (I loved Mario!).
Will's teacher, Mrs. Richards, brought in our troops. If you look hard, you can see Army Guy Jack.
Truly what made the experience worthwhile was the smile on Captain Rex:
