Sugar high!

Halloween Saturdays seem to compound the anticipation; we could almost hear the clock ticking until it was time to head out! Will took stock in our treats for tricksters. We gave away 221 candy bars and 13 bags of Goldfish.
We have no idea where Elle picked up this classic ditty, but enjoyed it nonetheless:

Finally ready to go! (Can you tell the squirrels had already paid us a visit?)
Scary? Maybe mysterious and tough?
Around the neighborhood, up Fourth Street...
...and down Fifth Street, where the kids caught up with the rest of the neighborhood.
Look at that loot! Luckily the kids costumes lent themselves to layering underneath (hence why Elle looks a little lumpy).
Hayden was an astronaut, Steven was Ben 10 and Harris was Anakin Skywalker.
Before heading to our respective neighborhood parties, Aunt Liz stopped by so Ellie could play stylist. "You're not a scary vampire, Aunt Lizzy; you're a nice vampire."
BOO!
