Snow bunnies

The Craftons provided the perfect excuse to try out a big sledding hill we'd been eyeing en route to Scapa in Clarendon Hills. One group of kids beat us there, but we had it to ourselves the rest of the morning. You can barely see Andy and Caroline, but you can't miss the hill! Camden had his first sledding adventure with dad, Clint. No bunny hill for Cam! Look for the bundle of gray fleece in Clint's lap. :) I think I was as excited to go sledding as the kids! After a few rides, Elle opted for making snow angels. I know we flew off of sleds in our day, but it looks so much worse when your kids are doing it! Will and Isaiah proved speed demons, took their lumps (i.e., face plants in the snow) with good humor, and climbed the hill for more. Annie got in on the fun with Caroline. Zoom in, and you can see Caroline joyfully covering her eyes. So funny! Annie and me, bundled up just like our freshman year at IU. Everyone told us we'd enjoy southern Indiana winters... we must have brought the cold with us (from the Chicago and Pittsburgh areas, respectively)—our first winter in Bloomington, the *temperature* fell to -33°F!
