Fireworks in the sky...

Municipal budget cuts may have shortened this year's fireworks display, but we weren't short on enthusiasm. Instead, we brought a bigger crowd than usual: in addition to Omi and Uncle Dave, Aunt Liz, (great-) Uncle John and cousins Caitlin and Patrick joined us. What a treat!
Once the lights went out (OK, Andy turned off the flash), the magic of our patriotic glow-in-the-dark necklaces began. Now you see us, now you don't...
Will serenaded us with The Star Spangled Banner.
But Ellie was too busy dazzling us with her accessories to sing her famous rendition of America the Beautiful.
Eventually darkness fell and the main event began. Fireworks from a bank parking lot may not sound Rockwellian, but you can't beat this view.
