There's a first—and last—time for everything

It figures the ugly stuff would go down after Clint, our personal paramedic, returned to Indy. Will got a nosebleed Labor Day. No big deal—he had one the night before. Dry air and all. That is until he said, "I feel weird," and proceeded to pass.out.cold, like a felled tree, hitting his head on the wood floor.

A visit from the DGFD ensued, and they said a trip to the ER was in order. We were going to take Will ourselves until he decided he felt nauseous, and prompted his first ride in an ambulance.

As you can tell, he suffered no ill effects, save a nice bonk on the head. I, however, may have had a heart attack or two.
Our stay in the ER was a short one, and we returned home for pizza and a movie on the couch. The next day's trip to the pediatrician didn't yield a diagnosis more than passing out from the bleeding. Will does have new instructions to sit down immediately if his nose bleeds or he feels "weird." Thanking our lucky stars that's all it was. Thanking our friends the Toths, too, for speeding over and taking Ellie during the ordeal!
