All work and no play on our snow day?
Nonsense! We had plenty to do, but more than a little bit of fun doing it. The snow was too deep for our snow blower, so my first priority was shoveling the top half so Andy could blow away the bottom.
As soon as we carved out a little room to move, the kids joined us. It looked like their first steps on the moon!
Will in the front yard, looking for the walk to our front door (it's around here, somewhere).
King of the mountain! Or at least the intersection. I spy the sidewalk in the foreground!
Over the hill, with Mom (who's not over the hill) plowing the sidewalk in the background.
Again! And again! From different angles!
Inside the first of what I'm sure will be many snow forts.
The great wall of Fourth Street.
The fruits of our labor: cleared sidewalks west on Fourth...
And south on Cumnor.
Will sky-high along the driveway apron.
She's amazing, this one, but she's not floating atop the snow—she's on the sitting wall!
The house, lookin' good surrounded by 21 inches of white stuff!
Good times! After four-plus hours... time to work on hot cocoa and a nap. ;)
