Fickle February
It's been a cold, snowy winter 'round these parts, so you'd think an ice festival would be perfect timing. But if you ask me, plan to showcase artwork made of ice, and temps will climb above freezing—in this case, for the first time in two weeks. Andy took the kids downtown Downers Grove to ooh and aah before it melted away. I think it was already too late to explain this odd rendition of Mickey. That's one big smooch for Valentine's Day. Lucky Mommy: flowers almost as big as Ellie for me! Speaking of smooches, the line for this kissing booth must have gone on for miles... irresistible. Ah, the "diamond" radar matures early. Meanwhile, I'm grateful Will didn't try to test the tongue-to-ice phenomenon. A valiant effort to showcase their love for DG. Happy Valentine's Day, all around!
