Camping with the Wea

Andy and Will attended their second Indian Guides camp out last weekend, this time reveling in winter fun and warmth around the camp fire.
Apparently this particular camp out is only for the heartiest among us, so just four Wea families made the trek north to Fox Lake. The five boys and four dads had a blast "roughing it."

Will, Jack, Ben and Keaton basked in the fire's glow. From what Andy tells me, Jackson was still on the ice playing hockey as the sun went down.
Thank goodness for interim-Chief Golden Bear, who donned the headdress and carried the torch in the absence of their (oft-absent) current chief. We're hopeful Golden Bear will lead the tribe next year. Please, Heath? Jack, Jackson, Keaton, Ben and Will are rooting for you!
Andy took lots of sledding video to share, but in the interest of catching up with our blog posts, I'll save them for later...

Finally, while pulling out of the parking lot to head home, Andy and Will spotted two deer in the brush. A fitting end to a camp out with a bunch of dear boys (awww).
