Ellie's birthday encore

Grandma and Grandpa's trip to Paris postponed Ellie's birthday celebration. That, or gave us another excuse to celebrate. ;) Part of the deal between Grandma and Elle was a Barbie cake. Barbie was never so tasty!
While I'd think you can't compete with cake, Will found his turkey sandwich (on a stick) tasty, too. Our poor, deprived omnivore.
It was a small, casual shindig with the Demmerts, Aunt Val and Busia on hand to see Ellie blow out her candles.
Poised with presents. She must be a year older!
The veteran unwrapper stepped in to assist, even if the presents were much too girly for his taste.
